Halloween Dance Day 2022

Here are some photos from our fun Halloween dance sessions!

Disney Dance Day 2022

Fun was had by everyone this year at the Disney Dance day! We danced to a ballet routine from Aladdin, 'A Whole New World'. We also learnt a modern routine from Frozen, 'Let It Go'. The routines were learnt very quickly and performed beautifully.  There was lots of singing throughout our time together! The day had a lovely positive atmosphere with great teamwork, with everyone helping each other. Thank you for all the effort made with outfits :)

Summer Workshops 2022

The Enchanted Forest

What an amazing 3 days we had with the children for the workshop.

Tree artwork, colourings, quizzes, and dance routines to keep everyone enthusiastic and happy.  Such fun.

Then on Day 3 Miss Rachel wrote a short show story to revolve around the dances, and everyone was in costumes complete with Fairy wands and lots of magic to dance 3 different dances, from ballet to Modern Dance and even Scottish Dancing!

Well danced Fairies, one and all.

The Firebird

Each of the 3 days began with an inspired “Warm up” sequence, followed by artwork, quizzes, games, and choreographed dances.  We even explored a short Tap Dance class to add to the fun.

We had a Firebird, and a Prince, 4 Princesses and an evil magician to complete our costumed show.

Miss Rachel wrote the story to involve Modern, Ballet and Lyrical dances, including a little bit of National Dancing from the Princesses, who danced with floral hoops.

Such fun.

On behalf of Miss Rachel and Miss Kate, well done everyone.  Roll on next Summer, for a 5 day course!!
